About Blake
The past nine years Blake has performed in all different types of music categories, Rock bands, Musical Theater, Choirs, Jazz Ensembles and Solo Artist. This mixture of music styles made him the musician he is today.
He is grateful that love for his craft has blossomed through his past music opportunities and from the beginning he had his sights on becoming the musician, song writer, and solo artist he is today. He has been performing in the Chicagoland area for the past two years at many bars, restaurants, and private events. He continues to grow and expand his set list to include many genres; Rhythm and Blues, Classic Rock, Alternative Rock, Pop, Country, Oldies, BlueGrass, and Indie Rock. Blake’s audience appreciates the variety of his set list and his appeal to a diverse fan base.

Blake has used his live performances to mix in some original music that have become fan favorites during his gigs. His first single “Standstill” was released late last year via all streaming platforms; Apple music, Spotify, etc. He will be releasing more music over the next few months.
The early years of his career he was the lead singer in multiple bands that performed in the Chicagoland area and competed at the Gemba band competition at the Milwaukee Summerfest. Blake pursued his passion for music via the musical theatre and choir programs at one of the best preforming arts high schools in the area, Cary Grove High School in the suburbs of Chicago. It was here where Blake was part of multiple “Best Productions” nominees recognized by the Illinois High School Musical Theater Awards. His senior year 2019 Blake starred as the lead role of “Chad” in the state winning Broadway in Chicago Production of “All Shook up”. Blake was singled out as a nominee as one of 12 males for the entire state as “Best Actor”. This production was a true reflection of Blake’s ability to capture an audience on a big stage.
Blake is currently attending Lindenwood University in St. Louis, MO. He was offered a multiple scholarship opportunity as DII NCAA Lacrosse player and Music performer. Blake is working to obtain a degree in Music Business and Entrepreneurship. He is learning the marketing and business aspects of the industry and applying them to his own solo career while attending college. He is focusing on his two primary instruments during his college career; voice and guitar.
